Texas State Technical College recently completed Phase I of its 80 acre campus in Fall 2016. The initial phase consisted of a 126,000 SF education facility offering state of the art lab space and classrooms. Phase II will include an additional 50,000 SF educational building.

Houston Community College - Advanced Manufacturing Center of Excellence

Houston Community College's Advanced Manufacturing Center of Excellence focuses on providing training in high growth and high demand occupations such as machining, additive manufacturing, robotics, CNC operations, and advanced manufacturing. 

The Houston metropolitan area is one of America's largest manufacturing bases with over 250,000 skilled workers involved in the production of plastics, metals, valves, medical devices, and numerous other products. 

Houston Community College maintains existing partnerships with the Manufacturing Skills Standard Council and the National Institute of Metalworking Skills to provide incumbent worker training and specialized workforce training to local employers.

University of Houston - Sugar Land Campus

The University of Houston's Sugar Land Campus, located just a short drive from Richmond, is a Tier 1 University Institute. The 270 acre campus offers undergraduate, graduate, and professional certification opportunities.
